As summer winds down and fall begins, we’re excited to share the wonderful activities planned for September at Rose Haven! Our residents have a full calendar of engaging events designed to keep the mind active, the body moving, and the spirit joyful.
Here’s just a taste of what’s coming up this month:
Music & Entertainment – From Americana music with Randy to Treasured Music afternoons, our halls will be filled with song and laughter. Weekly sing-alongs also bring residents together in a spirit of harmony.
Delicious Treats – Mini pizza making, veggie pizza socials, and dessert nachos are just a few of the tasty experiences on the calendar. Of course, no month is complete without plenty of ice cream socials and popcorn movie afternoons!
Creative Crafts & Clubs – Residents can explore their creativity with arts and crafts, painting, embroidery, origami, and coloring club. These activities spark imagination and give everyone a chance to express themselves.
Hawkeye Spirit – September means football season, and we’re ready to cheer on the Hawkeyes together during scheduled game viewings.
Special Gatherings – Coffee Bar socials, Wine & Cheese afternoons, and Birthday Parties are a chance to celebrate milestones and enjoy fellowship with friends.
Whether it’s trying something new or enjoying a favorite tradition, our September activities promise plenty of opportunities to connect, create, and celebrate.
